About The Carver's Stable

The Carver's Stable is a husband and wife partnership between two highly talented individuals who possess complimentary talents.
The main carver is Roy Clayton, who began carving professionally in 1985. Roy trained as a wood turner and found it a natural progression to move onto wood carving. As his talent grew he gained clients ranging from private individuals, through public institutions up to global multinational corporations.   Please browse the following pages to see some examples of his outstanding work.   

The aims of the Carver’s Stable are as follows:

1.    Provide a friendly and unbeatable service with pride.

2.    Produce hand crafted bespoke works of art to public organisations and private clients on a commission basis.

3.    Market unique products at a competitive price using the very latest computer numerially controlled (CNC) production techniques for an efficient service.

4.    To be able to offer a full carving service to industry and have the expertise and experience to confidently produce the customer's requirements.
